“Intellectual Property from a global perspective: What it takes to make it click?”

Busy practitioners work day-in day-out to file for protection and enforce their clients’ intellectual property rights. This has grown from mainly a local operation in the past to a full blown global trans-border practice. Patent agents and lawyers, IP Offices and other IP institutions as well as common standards, international conventions and treaties are inextricably related. With the fast changing landscape of the IP regime globally, we need to step back and take a good look at what is this all about, who are involved, what is out there and how we can best achieve our clients’ objectives within the given parameters. It is interesting to see how some of the Asian countries fared and the lesson to learn.

Leading expert from the World Intellectual Property Organization and a team of distinguished panelists will give us their insight on the macro and micro aspects of how things work starting from the inception of the great idea of an inventor, designer or author to full commercialization.

A serious IP practitioner will benefit from this highly enlightening session from our distinguished panel. We invite you to come to our session to click into the global IP regime and click on the useful tools we have to offer.
